General process: Plastic sheet - Cutting - Sheet fixing - Heating - Forming - Demolding - Removing edges - Finished product
Requirements for materials in vacuum forming:
1. Vacuum forming can only produce products with relatively uniform wall thickness (generally slightly thinner at the chamfer), and cannot produce plastic products with significantly different wall thicknesses
2. The wall thickness of vacuum forming is generally within the range of 1 to 2mm or thinner (the most commonly used thickness for sheets used in vacuum forming packaging for small packages is 0.15 to 0.25mm)
3. The stretchability of vacuum formed products is limited to a certain extent. The diameter to depth ratio of plastic containers formed by vacuum forming is generally not more than 1, and in extreme cases, it should not exceed 1.5
4. The dimensional accuracy of vacuum forming is poor, with a relative error generally above one percent.
